Code of Conduct – Staff

These are the rules we expect our staff to live by

1. I commit to place the physical and emotional well-being of the players, coaches, and game officials
ahead of any personal desire to win.
2. I will keep the players best interests at heart and will strive to develop a fierce team spirit, encouraging
each player to support one another.
3. I will strive to maximize the individual potential of each player, while respecting each player’s level of
commitment.
4. I will respect game officials and encourage each player to respect and support the game officials.
5. I will treat every player, coach, and game official with respect.
6. I will do my best to provide a safe and secure environment.
7. I promise to review and practice the necessary first aid principles needed to treat the injuries of my
players.
8. I will ensure to the best of my ability that all players and parents respect the respective Code of
Conduct.
9. I will applaud and encourage all the players.
10. I will not use inappropriate language at any time during practices or games.
11. I will do my best to create and maintain an enjoyable atmosphere for players, coaches, game officials
and parents.
12. I will always put the children’s safety ahead of my own.
13. I will not condone bullying of any player on the team. I also commit to take the appropriate action to
resolve the issue in a consistent, fair, and timely manner.
14. I acknowledge that all persons and especially children and young people have a right to be protected
from abuse regardless of their age, gender, disability, culture, language, racial origin, religious beliefs, or
sexual orientation.
15. I will demand a playing environment that is free from alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.
16. Failure to comply with the above may result in temporary or permanent removal of the Academy.
